The Contracting Authority requires the supply of an enhanced national 111 telephony infrastructure to support 111 calls. Requirements included the building, hosting and infrastructure management for the deployment of NHS 111 across the UK.

This service ensures patients can dial 111 and reach the correct local provider automatically. In the event of a pandemic the National Pandemic Flu Service will be routed via 111.

The Contracting Authority utilised the Crown Commercial Services Framework Agreement RM1498, Lot 1 to undertake a 'call off' and subsequently undertook a voluntary standstill period as part of the call off. Following the end of the voluntary standstill period this voluntary contract award notice is to alert the market of the award of the contract concluded as part of the call off from the framework.
