The equipment must satisfy NS-EN 137:2006 Respirators - Self-sufficient respiratory equipment with open circulation and air under pressure, NS-EN 136:1998 Respiratory protective equipment - Full face masks - Requirements, testing, labelling, applicable provisions are described in the Guidance on Smoke and chemical diving and associated regulations.

Start-up date: 01.04.2023

A contract shall be entered into for 4 years, with an option for the Contracting Authority for extending the contract for up to a further 2+2+1+1 years on same terms except for chapter 11.2 of the contract regarding price changes during the period.

The contract period is up to 10 years if all options are activated. The length contract period is justified in the investment amount of the procurement and that the introduction of new equipment is very demanding for the Contracting Authority while ensuring emergency preparedness.

A contract will be signed with one tenderer.
