Combined construction, assembly, liability and planning liability insurance for the construction project referred to under II 1.1) for the client and all companies commissioned by DB Energie GmbH with the planning, supervision and execution of this construction project.

The contract includes contract management in lot 1 and contract participation in lot 2. Detailed information on lot allocation can be found in the specific sections of this EU notice.

DB Energie GmbH is planning the construction of 3 new converter blocks of the central converter plant (zUrw) in Karlsfeld. These replace the 2 existing inverter blocks. For operational reasons, the conversion will be carried out in sections. The existing rear derailleur (110 kV traction current switchgear) will continue to be used. There are no interventions in the traction power line connection. The plant is currently wholly owned by an energy supplier. The client will acquire the operationally relevant parts of the plant space and, after the new construction of the converters, will in future take over the operation of the traction power generation itself. The existing 110 kV and 20 kV/50 Hz switchgear will remain the property and operational authority of the current energy supplier. Both DB Energie GmbH's traction power generation plants and the energy supplier's facilities will be located on the factory premises.

The implementation of the construction project takes place in 2 steps: first, the SLT rear derailleur is renewed. Subsequently, a new converter will be created and the two converters currently in the portfolio will be adapted (renewal of the secondary technology and extension of the 110 kV 16.7 Hz switchgear for the connection of the 3rd converter and renewal of the converters of the converter plant).

The total investment for this project is estimated at EUR 65.206 million. Of this, approximately EUR 0.785 million has already been settled via an existing contract. The new insurance contract put out to tender here will replace the existing contract. A currently planned construction period until 23.09.2027 is expected. The insurance contract begins after completion of the tender procedure on the date of the award following a currently existing preliminary cover.

(Type H-EU) In liability insurance, the amount of coverage per claim is EUR 20,000,000 lump sum for personal, property and property losses, including benefits from environmental liability insurance.

In planning liability insurance, a separate amount of coverage of EUR 10,000,000 per claim is available at a flat-rate rate for property and financial losses. The aforementioned sums are triple maximized.

Extendend maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance section is 42 months. Additional liability is 10 years in liability insurance and 5 years in environmental liability and environmental damage insurance.

The general deductible is at least EUR 10 000. The deductible is not payable for personal injury.

Participation in the combined construction, assembly, liability and planning liability insurance for the project referred to in point II 1.1). For a description of procurement, reference is made to Lot 1 under II. 2.4). The insurance contract begins on the date of the award.
