On the basis of this EU tender, EVO intends to award the planning services of basic determination, preliminary planning and design planning as well as the approval planning for the future heat supply in the Offenbach network area (Andrestraße campus).
As a regional energy supplier, Energieversorgung Offenbach AG operates a broad portfolio of energy generation plants to supply the city and district of Offenbach with district heating, among other things. The backbone for this is a hard coal-fired power plant, which will have to be replaced in the coming years due to the coal phase-out supported by EVO AG. In order to compensate for the loss of generation capacity as CO2-neutral and efficient as possible and to create the basis for future heat supply, EVO AG has investigated a large number of possible supply options in the past. It has been shown that the concept to be examined in more detail in the context of this call for tenders can make an important contribution to the diversification of the production landscape. In principle, therefore, the generation site "Campus Andréstraße" should be considered within the framework of this tender. The basic process engineering modules are in the range of:
- Planning the conversion of a fluidized bed coal boiler to biomass-based fuels
- Planning of a heat supply solution using large-scale industrial heat pumps
- Planning of a gas peak load/redundancy boiler system based on shell boilers
The scope of delivery and services tendered in this context includes all services required and necessary for the general planning of the aforementioned project, based on the applicable service profiles and their service phases LPH1 to LPH4 in accordance with the Fee Schedule for Architects and Engineers (HOAI) in the version of 2021 as well as the services described in this service description.
