See II.2.4
The government assignment concerns a contract with 1 plot consisting of 2 items, namely operational ammunition and training ammunition.
Ammunition caliber .300 7.62x35mm
This ammunition is made available to police personnel. The ammunition is intended to be fired with a long semi-automatic weapon used by the integrated police, structured at two levels, namely the FN SCAR .300.
Operational ammunition
It is a projectile of the type with an expansive effect or similar.
A projectile that contains a part / element that covers the hollow point is permitted.
The construction of the projectile ensures that no meaningful distortion will occur through repeated insertion into the charger and into the chamber of the weapon.
The projectile must meet the following requirements:
- on hydrostatic targets, it must deform to the maximum but has a limited risk of stoppage (low risk to third parties)
- large energy release on hydrostatic targets with controlled distortion.
Training ammunition
It contains a TFMJ or FMJ or other type projectile that offers equivalent specifications insofar as this projectile does not cause significant additional damage to the user or to the shooting range.
The detailed technical specifications will be displayed in the specifications.
In addition, the contracted firm is expected to have a stock of ammunition in Europe, which is supplied through an agent to both the local zones and the federal police, in order to guarantee a good delivery.
