The Danish Parliament (FT) and the Ministry of Children and Education (BUVM) jointly with the Danish Youth Council (DUF) hold a nationwide school election. School choice is an authentically conducted act of choice in the 8th, 9th and 10th grades of primary schools, where students must be ticked on the ballot box in ballot boxes that are put up in schools. Prior to the election, there is a three-week course that follows a worked out concept for School Choice. The focal point of the training course is a website that the supplier must develop, host, operate and support.
The Danish Parliament (FT) and the Ministry of Children and Education (BUVM) jointly with the Danish Youth Council (DUF) hold a nationwide school election. The election will take place every two years – next time on 1 February 2024. School choices have been held since 2015, and School Choice 2024 is thus the fifth School Choice. This is because researchers in 2011 showed that first-time voters vote less than the rest of the population. Students and teachers log in with Uni login. The website must be completed on 1 October 2023 after passing a test course, including performance tests.
