The new conference, event and trade fair building "Confex®" will be built on the grounds of koelnmesse to the west of the existing Hall 2. Together with Hall 1 (new building), which has just been completed, the Confex® is one of two new buildings that completes the ensemble of exhibition halls and access buildings to the western areas of DB and the Rheinpark. The various parts of the hall can be accessed autonomously via the entrances from the south and north foyers, or via the entrances in the mobile partition walls in the west from the passerelle. The planned new building consists of a large-scale elevated hall, on the north, south and west sides of which a multi-storey head building will be erected. The building has a total length of approx. 138.50 m and a width of approx. 75.60 m.
