The subject of the assignment is an architectural assignment for the partial renovation and expansion of the campus on the site of Thomas More Kempen in Geel.

Thomas More Kempen specifically provides for the (external) renovation of a few building blocks with an expansion of, among other things, one or more of the 3 lesson blocks, the student restaurant and one large connected new building for the realization of office spaces.

The assignment includes:

• The complete architectural assignment, including all studies on stability, techniques, acoustics, accessibility, signage, fire, demolition inventory, probing, composition of subsidy file, EPB reporting & ventilation reporting;

• The preparation of an application to obtain an environmental permit;

• The preparation of the implementation planning, detailed drawings, technical specifications, measurement statements;

• The technical supervision of the award procedure(s), if necessary divided into different lots;

• The coordination and control of the execution of the contracting works and the partial demolition works of the existing buildings, leading the site meetings and taking care of the associated reporting. The design team to be appointed has a global coordination obligation for all aspects of the renovation and new construction;

• Reviewing and improving the submitted statements of claim;

• Providing all administrative assistance in obtaining the necessary permits for the realization and commissioning of the renovated and / or new buildings;

• To provide advice on proposed amendments and settlement proposals submitted in more or less, as well as other technical matters arising during the execution of the contracting works;

• Providing assistance with the provisional and final acceptance of the contracting works.

The assignment includes both the architecture, stability and technical installations part.
