The aim is to equip all bed spaces with a modern multimedia and infotainment solution platform. In addition to providing pure entertainment and communication services for the patient, great attention is paid to the integration of process-optimizing value-added services. All media and information services should be installed or integrated on the basis of the latest interfaces and protocol standards.

The roll-out of the project is divided into 2 phases.

Phase 1) Construction of all central components, implementation and configuration of the required media and information services, as well as equipping the new B-building with bedside terminals. The completion date of the B-building, which is still under construction, will be around mid-2021.

Phase 2) Following phase 1, the existing solution in the A building is to be dismantled and replaced by bedside terminals on the new solution platform.
