7 supply companies in Zealand and Lolland are hereby collecting, transporting and finalizing bio fertilizers from 19 treatment plants at 7 supplies in Zealand and Lolland as a public tender.
Bio-fertilizers from the following supplies and treatment plants (19) in Zealand and Lolland must be disseminated, and as a general rule, final placement on agricultural land will be the final destination. However, there are some wastewater treatment plants where bio-fertilizers do not meet the quality requirements for direct application to agricultural land, and these quantities must also be disseminated. The job description shows, for the individual treatment plants, the quality of the sludge that the picture currently looks like.
Annual handling of approx. 9,500 tonnes of sludge (wet weight)The contractor must manage the task in accordance with the legislation in force at all times, including "Executive Order on the Environmental Protection Act" (Environmental Protection Act), cf. Statutory Order no. Executive Order No. 1001 of 27.6.2018 and "Executive Order on supervision of sewage sludge etc. for agricultural purposes" (The Executive Order), cf. Statutory Order No. 56 of 24.1.2000, as amended.

Where the bio-fertilizer does not meet the quality requirements for direct application to agricultural land (A-sludge), but is categorized as B-sludge (exceeding limit values for environmental substances, cf. The Supervisory Order) the contractor must disseminate the bio fertilizer in accordance with the legislation in force at all times.
It should be emphasized that, in connection with the execution of the contract, the developer has only financial balance with the contractor, which must have included all the costs of the contract in the tender price. The amount of sludge handled (tonnes / month) is settled monthly.
