Klinikum Hersfeld-Rotenburg is an association of 8 health facilities under municipal ownership.

As part of a comprehensive strategy for the future, the acute medical care services are now to be concentrated at one location – the Klinikum Bad Hersfeld. This requires extensive structural measures in various stages. The medical concept assumes about 40,000 m² NUF and 650 planned beds. The target planning is to be implemented gradually over the next 10 to 15 years. For the 1st BA, the preliminary planning has been completed, the construction of a new functional and nursing wing with ZNA, radiology, 10 operating theatres, 60 places ITC/IMC and 160 beds for normal care as well as a helicopter roof landing pad is being built for approx. € 100 million. The total cost is estimated at €190 million. The planning services have already been commissioned. This award procedure concerns the necessary project management services.
