The subject of the contract is the implementation of active protection activities consisting in the removal of undergrowth of trees and shrubs with the removal of biomass in the Natura 2000 area of the Orava-Novotarskie PEAT BOG PLC120003 in order to shape the appropriate structure of the following habitats: 7110 High peat bogs with peat-forming vegetation (alive); 7120 High peat bogs degraded but capable of natural and stimulated regeneration; 7140 Transitional peat bogs and bogs (mostly with vegetation from Scheuchzerio-Caricetea).
1. The subject of the contract is the performance of active protection activities consisting in the removal of undergrowth of trees and shrubs with the removal of biomass in the Natura 2000 area of the Orava -Nowotarskie PEAT BOG PLC120003 in order to shape the appropriate structure of the following habitats: 7110 High peat bogs with peat-forming vegetation (alive); 7120 High peat bogs degraded but capable of natural and stimulated regeneration; 7140 Transitional peat bogs and bogs (mostly with vegetation from Scheuchzerio-Caricetea).
2. The Contracting Authority provides for the implementation of active protection activities on patches of natural habitats with a total area of 108 ha. The works were planned on parts of cadastral plots numbered 14732, 14734, 14735 and 14736 located within Czarny Dunajec, Czarny Dunajec commune. The location of the planned activities is presented on the maps constituting Annexes No. 1 – 6 to the Description of the Subject of the Order.
3. The works should be carried out in accordance with the indications contained in the Pre-Construction Expertise for the Natura 2000 site of the Orava –Nowotarskie PEAT BOG PLC120003 (formerly PLH120016), which constitutes Annex 7 to the Description of the Subject of the Contract.
4. Details of the scope of the subject of this contract are specified in Appendix No. 8 to SWZ – Description of the Subject of the Order (OPZ).
5. The Contracting Authority requires that manual workers referred by the Contractor or subcontractor to perform activities: works falling within the scope of the contract consisting in removing the undergrowth of trees and shrubs with the removal of biomass, be employed on the basis of an employment relationship. The above does not apply to the situation when the Contractor independently performs the contract.
