The Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) in Trondheim (Norway) is seeking proposals from qualified computer hardware vendors for a High Performance Computing (HPC) LINUX Cluster and a High Capacity Storage Server.
The Cluster should consist of 1 head node and 2 different types of compute nodes, including initially 96 and 128 processor cores total for each of the 2 nodes respectively.
The parallel storage system (plus necessary disk shelves) should provide a minimum 500 TB usable capacity in a single namespace.
