Vågan Municipality would like to enter into a continuing framework agreement for laundry services. The framework agreement will include the delivery of laundry services and the hire of mats, linen and workwear. The service includes the hire of textiles, laundry of hired textiles, laundry of the municipality´s own workwear, distribution of laundered textiles and the collection of laundered textiles.

Other municipal entities needing laundry services can utilise the service on verbatim terms. The contract duration is three years, with an option to extend for one year.

 The estimated total contract value including options is approx. NOK 6,300,000. The amounts are to be considered as a guideline and are including VAT. This amount does not carry any obligations for the Vegan Municipality or rights for the tenderer. The amount is estimated based on current need and is not index regulated. The maximum amount is NOK 8.0 million for the framework agreement.

The contract includes:

- Hire of clothing for use as workwear and clothing for residents in Health and Care Services

- Laundry of textiles and other clothing for Vågan Municipality

- Hire and laundry of mats for entrance areas and other natural places

- Transport of clothing to and from the user locations for the Health and Care Services in Vågan Municipality.

The tenderer will always be obliged to comply with the current laws, regulations, and branch norms for the relevant services, including the current branch standard, infection control programme for municipal health institutions in Nordland County, and the infection control programme for home-based services and sheltered accommodation flats. Tenderers must aspire to have an as environmentally friendly transport scheme as possible.
