The purpose of this tender exercise is to select a service provider whose delivery of fire alarm systems periodic testing and reactive maintenance services commencing 1.10.2019 will represent value for money, high quality service; combined with the ability to identify and implement service efficiencies across the Trusts.

The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust on behalf of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group (NCA) invites tenders for the fire alarm systems periodic servicing and reactive maintenance across the following NHS Care Organisations:

— the Royal Oldham Hospital,

— Fairfield General Hospital,

— Rochdale Infirmary (Including Birch Hill),

— Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.

Plus the following off site areas which are within ½ mile from the main Salford Royal site:

— Summerfield House,

— Hope Library,

— Cleveland House,

— Turnpike House.

The contractor shall carry out the periodic servicing of each fire alarm and gaseous fire suppression system shall in accordance with the appropriate British Standard including BS5839-1:2017, BS6266:2011, and Health Technical Memorandum (HTM) 05-03 fire safety measures for health sector buildings.
