Unbalanced Tourism Growth at Destination Level – Root Causes, Impacts, Existing Solutions and Good Practices

This call for tenders aims to reinforce the competitiveness and sustainability of EU tourism. Its general policy objective is to encourage and support the sustainable growth of EU tourism by creating value through tourism to the economy, employment and wellbeing of the EU citizens. The action will contribute to the green transition objectives of the EU, the European Green Deal in particular, as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) wishes to enter into a service contract for a study and a series of workshops addressing unbalanced tourism growth (overtourism) at destination level, in particular the root causes, impacts, risk assessment, as well as existing best practice solutions.
