The subject of this proceeding is the implementation of protective measures by setting pheromone traps in chestnut crowns limiting the population of horse chestnut. Protective chestnut treatments will be carried out in historic parks, in non-historic parks, along road lanes and other urban areas.

3.1 The basic order includes the installation of 1,388 traps.

3.2 Delta pheromone trap (house) is to be made of plastic, green, house-shaped. Pheromone should be placed on a sticky tile of at least 190 cm 2 located at the bottom of the trap (the dimensions of the trap base must be adapted to the size of the offered goo). The Employer allows the use of used pheromone traps (houses) or from recycling, excluding sticky tiles containing pheromone.

3.2.1 The Employer allows the use of a pheromone trap other than a Delta type trap, however, provided that the traps are green and the pheromone sticky tile is not smaller than in the Delta type trap.

3.3 The scope of work will include:

3.3.1 Placement of pheromone traps in the crown of a chestnut tree, minimum 3 m above the ground with a single replacement of a sticky plate with a luring pheromone.

3.3.1.1. Setting traps with pheromone within 2 weeks from the date of the contract.

3.3.1.2 Removing the pheromone sticky plate and placing a new sticky plate

With the pheromone applied in the period of about 2 weeks before the second swarm of insects, i.e. from about 1.6.2019 to 15.6.2019 according to the Ordering Party's instructions and showing removed sticky tiles to the Ordering Party before their disposal in accordance with the principles of waste management.

3.3.1.3 Replenishment of destroyed traps with sticky tiles with pheromone in an amount of up to 10%.

3.3.1.4 Removal of pheromone traps from the crowns of trees in the period from about 15.9.2019 to 30.9.2019 as instructed by the Employer and presentation before their disposal to the Employer and removal of at least sticky tiles in accordance with the principles of waste management.

3.3.2. Drawing up a tabular list of trees covered by the treatments, stating: the consecutive number consistent with the list (Annex 2 to the contract), location, trunk circumference, any comments regarding the condition of the tree.

3.3.3. Utilization of waste (which becomes the property of the Contractor) arising from the implementation of this contract, in accordance with applicable law, in particular the Contractor assumes the obligations of the waste holder within the meaning of the Act of 14.12.2012 on waste (i.e. 2018 item 992).
