TV 2 will over a period of 3 years require six Solid State Logic audio mixer or equivalent for Outside Broadcast and studio replacements.

Over the past six months, TV 2 developed a technology strategy for the coming five years initiating a complete refresh of TV 2's technical infrastructure and a switch to IP based AV Transmission Solution infrastructure (hereinafter AVoIP) to be able to meet with the requirements of the media consumer of the future.

As part of that migration in combination with aging technology, TV 2 is looking to replace a number of audio mixers across our facilities over the coming years.

TV 2 has already a number of Solid State Logic (hereinafter SSL) audio mixers, and it will be the preferred approach to continue building on the SSL audio mixer infrastructure into our AVoIP migration.

It is expected that TV 2 will purchase two audio mixers in 2022, two in 2023 and another two in 2024. Specifications of the audio mixers can be found in Appendix 1 Tender Specification.
