The project is for the demolition of existing and construction of the new Scalloway fish market in accordance with designs produced by the Contracting Authority's consultant advisor. Work includes:

— construction of the fish market building,

— installation of chilling systems (by specialist subcontractor selected by the Contracting Authority),

— installation of loading bay mechanisms,

— drainage,

— external works, lighting and ancillary access.

This was a 2 stage procurement procedure.
