Trønderplan AS will, on behalf of Midtre Namdal Avfallsselskap IKS (MNA), hold a contest for various transport assignments. They will also write a report on a decision after the evaluation. The final decision on which company will be awarded the assignments will be made by the Procurement Committee in MNA's supervisory board. This is because MNA's subsidiary company is in a position to submit a tender for one or more of the sub-contracts. List of assignments and services that are covered by this contest:
1. Transport of containers to and from GVS/reloading station and the hire of various containers
2. Emptying combination containers at GVS and operation of a mobile GVS
3. Transport of food waste containers from/to Kolvereid /Ecopro Verdal
4. Transport of food waste containers from/to Lierne/Ecopro Verdal
5. Emptying glass and metal recycling stations
1. Transport of containers to and from GVS/waste facility and hire of various containers
o Transport of hook containers to/from all of MNA's recycling stations (GVS) to the waste facilities at Solsiden and Stormyra.
o Transport of hook containers from MNA's waste facilities at Solsiden and Lierne to Stormyra waste facility.
o The transport must be carried out with equipment that is suitable for MNA's containers. Collection will be after an order has been placed and it must take place at the latest the day before the next opening day at the different GVSs. Tidying collection places for containers is included in the assignment.
o Hire of containers in different sizes for use in our facilities
o Operation of a mobile GVS in different places in the MNA area. A mobile recycling station must consist of a one-chamber compressor vehicle and a vehicle equipped with a hook lift and trailer for hook lift containers. MNA will provide four sealed containers with a side opening for use in the assignment. The tenderer will service the station according to a fixed transport plan and assist customers with advice, reception, and uploading of materials/rest products, as well as transport to/unloading at Stormyra and Solsiden waste facilities. The staff must have acquired the necessary competence to carry out the assignment before the start-up.
o Emptying combination containers at all of MNA's GVSs. Mainly according to the set route plan, but there will also be a need for emptying outside the route.
The assignment consists of transporting full food waste containers from Solside waste facility in Kolvereid to Ecopro in Verdal. This must be done by a hook vehicle with a trailer. The containers are always transported in pairs, with a total weight of approx. 28-30 tonnes.

Bottom-emptying containers for the collection of glass and metal packaging have been set out in the MNA area. These are emptied according to a route plan, but the route plan is supplemented as needed when individual containers are full before they are due to be emptied. These are currently emptied by a hook vehicle with containers and a crane with a lifting system for 2 hooks and mushroom. A trailer can be required for some routes or for parts of the season.
