Ullensaker Municipality shall expand the capacity at Gardermoen treatment plant. In addition to a considerable capacity expansion, the new Gardermoen treatment plant must fulfil significantly more stringent requirements concerning the reduction of the total amount of phosphor used in the treatment process.
The expansion of Gardermoen treatment plant, the UGRA project, will consist of several different contracts. This notice is for a contract for building and construction work, EB01.
The assignment consists of all building and construction work for the expansion of Gardermoen Treatment Plant. The UGRA project mainly consists of the construction of a new main building that will handle a 120% capacity increase of the wastewater treatment process. This building will consists of approx. 4,200 m2 footprint with a main slab level, lower floor and basement. Furthermore, a new inlet pump station will be constructed that is connected to the existing inlet pump station, which will pump the wastewater in to the new process building. In addition, the existing pre-treatment plant for C-glycol from the airport is to be expanded with an additional treatment line connected to the existing treatment plant. Finally, the existing administration building will be altered, amongst other things to adapt to increased staffing at the plant. In addition to structural constructions, the contract will include site work with sheet piling, excavating plots for the three buildings, ditches with pipes for water and sewage, chemicals and conduits between the different buildings, roads, and landscape work.
