Electrical installation work as part of fire protection and energy upgrading as well as the conversion and renovation of all floors of the main building of the Maximilian Kolbe School in Neunkirchen-Wiebelskirchen, which is sponsored by the Diocese of Trier.
The installation work will be carried out in 3 construction phases, starting 20 working days after commissioning by the client until the end of 2023 (end of 3rd construction phase), with pollutant remediation (separate order) being preceded by the installation work of the individual construction phases in each case around the construction site for the work of the other trades to produce pollutant-free.
The work takes place during the individual construction phases, with the exception of the school holidays, during ongoing school operations.
The Maximilian Kolbe School was built around 1975 as a reinforced concrete skeleton structure (TT-girder ceilings on the ground floor and upper floors) or reinforced concrete / masonry construction (basement) with non-load-bearing system partition walls (so-called "Mechel walls") as interior walls and a curtain-type mullion-transom facade. The building has 5 floors (basement-3rd floor) and a technical floor. Due to its age, there are deficits in the building with regard to technical systems, fire protection, energy balance, etc., which should be remedied in the course of the renovation.
Earthing and lightning protection system:
- Dismantling the existing lightning protection system on the roof areas of the technical floor, 3rd floor, 2nd floor and 1st floor
- New installation of the lightning protection system after completion of the roof renovation
- New installation of drainage pipes, on rainfall pipes after completion of the exterior facade
- Partial renovation of the earthing system
