The subject of this award is the production and supply of lunch for the Martini School Freystadt (elementary and middle school, lot 1, client: Stadt Freystadt, Marktplatz 1, 92342 Freystadt) and the elementary and middle school Berching (lot 2, client: city Berching, Pettenkoferplatz 12, 92334 Berching) by an experienced catering service provider (hereinafter referred to as the contractor).
The midday meals for both school locations are to be provided from the beginning of the 2020/2021 school year (Tuesday, 8.9.2020) using a cook & hold system (hot meals). Other catering systems are not possible due to the lack of heating options.
Both schools consist of a primary and secondary school. The food portions should be adjusted accordingly. The prices for elementary school and middle school are queried separately (per lot).
The contractor is obliged to deliver high-quality school meals in accordance with the list of requirements in this service description and the standards specified therein, which are based on the recommendations of the German Society for Nutrition (DGE).

The middle school students of the bound full day are obliged to take part in lunch. All students who have afternoon classes are also required to have lunch in the canteen.

- The number of middle school students is approximately: 95;
- Number of people from the school environment is approximately: 5 (provision according to portions of middle school).
Around 130 pupils are currently taking part in the lunch service, with 23% being divided into primary school pupils and 77% into middle school pupils.
However, since the middle school is a school network, individual classes can be added from the coming school year. The meal numbers can therefore vary, which means that the numbers will change in September 2020. It can be assumed that the numbers will tend to increase.
Number of lunch breaks:
There are 2 staggered lunch breaks
- Time of the first lunch break: 12.15 p.m. to 1.15 p.m.
- Time of the second lunch break: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Opening times of the food service during lunch:
- 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The delivery can take place from 11.30 a.m.
In total, approximately 30 primary school and 100 middle school children are to be supplied with goods from the contractor on approx. 152 days of care per year (calculated on the basis of full care on 4 days with a school period of 38 weeks).

Food is not distributed on Fridays, public holidays or during the holidays.

The pupils of the middle school are obliged to take part in lunch.

The delivery of the dishes must take place here via the school playground. Delivery is therefore not possible during the break from 11.20 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. The specific delivery of the dishes can only take place here from 11.40 a.m.
In total, about 40 primary school and 95 middle school children should be on a total of approx. 152 days of care per year (calculated on the basis of full care on 4 days with a school period of 38 weeks) and additionally on approx. 38 days of care (calculated on the basis of a lower level of care on Friday) 38 weeks of school) about 20 primary school children are supplied with goods from the contractor.
