NVE receives enquiries through numerous channels. The content of each enquiry is manually assessed for case affiliation and the obligation to keep records in accordance with the Archives Act. We are in need of a trainable model that can provide decision support for the assessments the content of enquiries in various channels, and that can provide output to different systems.
We would like a solution that can deliver legal decision support in accordance with the current data protection requirements. The solution should fulfil the public sector's duty regarding privacy by design in solutions based on machine learning. The solution must be user-friendly for end users, and NVE would like to have ownership of and insight into the training of the model.
