The municipal primary school 't Centrum has been struggling with a lack of space for several years. Due to the ever-increasing number of pupils, there is a shortage of kindergarten classes. By demolishing the local fraternity, space can be created for a new building consisting of 3 kindergarten classes with associated community halls for the brother circle on the one hand and the parish on the other. Common areas will be created in order to make optimal use of the available surface to be built on.

The renovation of the existing entrance hall, management rooms, staff rooms on the ground floor and the upper floor will in turn be equipped with additional classrooms for the philosophical subjects.

The renovation of the ground floor will provide space for an administrative block, redesign of 2 kindergarten classes, technical rooms, ....

Renovation of the roof (old building) according to the EPB standards so that the building becomes more energy efficient.

The municipality has received an agreement from the Agency for Infrastructure in Education (AGION) for the subsidization of this file.
