1. The subject of the contract is "Collection and management of stabilized sewage sludge with the code 19 08 05 from the Sewage Treatment Plant Centralna, Miechowice, Bobrek".
2. A detailed description and manner of performance of the order is included in the model contract constituting Annex 8 to the SWZ
1. The subject of the order is “Receipt and development of stabilized sewage sludge code 19 08 05 from the Wastewater Treatment Plant Centralna, Miechowice, Bobrek”.
2. For sludge from the Centralna Sewage Treatment Plant in Bytom, the Contracting Authority allows the following processes:
a. in terms of development:
R1 - Use mainly as a fuel or other means of generating energy,
R3 - Recycling or recovery of organic substances that are not used as solvents (including composting and other biological transformation),
R10 - Surface treatment benefiting agriculture or improving the environment and types of waste allowed for such recovery,
b. as regards disposal:
D10 - thermal transformation.
3. For sludge from the Miechowice Sewage Treatment Plant and the Bobrek Sewage Treatment Plant in Bytom, the Contracting Authority allows the following processes:
a. in terms of development:
R1 - Use mainly as a fuel or other means of generating energy,
R3 - Recycling or recovery of organic substances that are not used as solvents (including composting and other biological transformation),
b. as regards disposal:
D10 - thermal transformation.
4. The minimum amount of sludge for collection and management as part of the performance of the service is specified in the contract template (Annex 8 to the SWZ) and constitutes the minimum scope of the contract that the contractor is guaranteed to perform. The maximum amount of sludge to be collected and managed specified in Annex 8 to the SWZ is determined by the right of option within the meaning of Article 441 of the Public Procurement Law, reserved for the benefit of the Ordering Party, which will be implemented under the conditions specified in the model contract. The Ordering Party does not guarantee the execution of the order within the scope specified by the maximum amount of sludge to be collected and managed.
