FV13V - Supply of Flextrafik Variable - Vehicle groups

It is expected that approximately 1.5 million trips per year will be made by the type of driving carried out in Flextrafik.

In order to maintain the supply of these services at peak times – and at the same time ensure profitable public transport – it is considered necessary to seek agreements covering a total of max. 1000 wagons with home area in Region Zealand and max.1000 wagons with home area in the Capital Region of Denmark to ensure security of supply in the coming contract period.

The service offered is variable, which means that Movia does not guarantee any fixed amount of service to the individual operator contracted with.

Movia Flextrafik handles transport for municipalities and regions. Movia Flextrafik plans and offers services, enters into agreements with hauliers or taxi companies and handles everything related to operational problems. Movia Flextrafik also provides quality assurance in relation to driver training and vehicle layout.

Flextrafik is offered in accordance with the EU rules for the area and includes six different types of services:

Flexhandicap, which is a statutory scheme intended for citizens with walking difficulties who have been given walking aids from the public sector.

Flexpatient is a statutory delivery service to and from hospitals for citizens of Region Zealand and Capital Region.

Flexkommune is typically driving to a doctor, specialist, rehabilitation, etc. It is the individual municipality that decides whether the driving scheme should be offered to the citizens of the municipality, and it is the municipality that searches the citizens for it.

Flexrute is fixed route-based transport to, among other things, school, day homes and sheltered workshops, etc. It is the individual municipality that decides whether the driving scheme should be offered to the citizens of the municipality. It is the municipality that searches citizens for the scheme.

Flextur is a driving scheme that is open to all citizens. It is the individual municipality that decides whether to offer the scheme to the citizens of the municipality.

Plustur is an open driving arrangement that is sought out in the itinerary and that everyone can use on the part of the journey where the bus or train is not enough. It is the individual municipality that decides whether to offer the scheme to citizens.

The present invitation to tender concerns the transport of groups of vehicles. The tenderer must be aware that driving with vehicle groups requires that the tenderer has staff who constantly monitor and handle the driving via a PC and in the program that Movia requires to be used.

Monitoring and handling of operations must take place throughout the period during which the operator's vehicles are in operation or at Movia's disposal. The driving cannot be supervised by staff who at the same time perform driving for Movia or others.
