Battery simulator

This tender competition is part of PWR ON investment project. In PWR ON-project Oulu University of Applied Sciences (procurement authority) will obtain a battery simulator and implement in NUVE-LAB. With the battery simulator, electrical power transmissions and electrical working machines can be tested without actual traction batteries, which are the most valuable part of the electrical power transmissions. The battery simulator enables researching and testing of the different electrical power transmission solutions without investing to expensive traction batteries and without a risk of extremely hard extinguished battery fire. Battery simulator also improves the safety of operation of NUVE-LAB by reducing the amount of burning materials in laboratory area during tests.

From the project PWR ON Investment project a financing application has been filed which is why the procurement contract will be signed when the financing decision has arrived at the contracting entity (approximately 12/2022).
