A001370 - consultancy infrastructure and operations

The subject of the assignment is a framework agreement for hiring external employees for the ITD department of Digipolis.

The purpose of this framework agreement is to arrive at a list of preferred partners whereby we select a maximum of 5 partners for each parcel based on the award criteria.

For each specific purchase (partial assignment) in this framework agreement, Digipolis organizes a mini-competition between the preferred partners, whereby the price is already fixed in this framework agreement (with the possibility of indexing in accordance with the provisions in these specifications).

Helpdesk employee

Helpdesk employees are the point of contact for our customers. You are customer-oriented and you are helping everyone objectively. You know the different channels and use them constructively. You act correctly and ensure that the customer can continue working without a problem.

We do not expect that you solve all problems yourself, but that you as a team player bridge the gap between our customers and internal services. This way you map problems in a transparent manner. You ensure that the right colleagues are quickly and clearly aware of the problems and you provide them with the necessary feedback.

Client intervention employee

As an employee of this team you solve all problems at the client's workplace. Cabling, hardware or software problems are among the daily tasks. You analyze the problem and ensure a fast and efficient solution. This can be done both remotely and locally at the customer. The team consists of 40 employees and is divided into 3 subgroups.

Employee workplace management

This team manages the workplace (laptop, fixed computer, tablet, smartphone, printer) of the end user. Software distribution, OS deployments, asset management and license management are tasks that are performed by workplace management to the devices as well as the OS deployments. They also ensure the continuity of all associated systems.

Telecom employee

The ad hoc group is responsible for the urban network, among other things. For this they regularly seek external staff for the installation, configuration, placement, testing, inventory and documentation of technical Telecom aspects. These are mainly switches, routers and APs with the aim of continuing to guarantee a stable and high-performance network.

Employee ALM-Team

The ALM team is responsible for designing, setting up, installing and managing a DevOps ecosystem. In addition to coaching developers through the OTAP street, the team also focuses on smart automation, code quality checks, challenges in the field of monitoring and logging, research into possibilities for AI and Machine Learning for Operations.

A profile for ALM has affinity with the various phases in application lifecycle management (requirements, development, testing, deployment and management).

Server & Storage employee

The Data, Servers and Storage group is responsible for the installation, configuration, management and automation of the hybrid cloud infrastructure of the data centers of the city of Antwerp.

Employee Prevention and Intervention

The Prevention and Intervention team is responsible for resolving incidents that occur on the network, server park and central infrastructure. They reduce it through active monitoring, alerting, change management and a preventive approach

number of incidents and thus increase availability. This approach has a positive effect on recovery times (TTF) and availability figures (MTBF). The team members master the skills to effectively manage crisis and problem situations. All team members are included in the Digipolis watch organization, which means that they can be called up 24 x 7 in the event of a breakdown on central components or calamities.

IT Integration Engineer

The IT integration engineer does not work in 1 team, but works together with the various teams. You feel comfortable on both sides of our DevOps operation.

Thanks to an excellent knowledge of various scripting languages, colleagues can appeal to you to realize integrations together.

You are responsible for building CI / CD pipelines, you can work out various automations and you are eager to manage our infrastructure as a code.

The Telecom group is responsible for the expansion and maintenance of the urban network and its security.
