Rogaland County hereby invites tenderers to an open tender competition for the transport of library material. The County is participating with safeguarding the remote lending function in the county and organise the local lending cooperation between the libraries. The remote lending scheme is a national cooperation, where the libraries display the book collections to lenders at other libraries. The transport service includes lending and returning books and other materials between the county’s libraries, as well as outside the county and other parts of Norway.

In this contract, Rogaland County cooperates with 21 municipal libraries. The contract also includes eight sub-branch municipal libraries. 4 subbranch libraries belonging to the university library and the university college’s libraries shall have option for entering into the contract.

Rogaland County is the formal contract partner with the provider of this contract.
