For the Feldmark district, the city of Bochum has developed a mobility concept for the realization of an auto-optional district. A central component of the concept is a neighborhood garage, which contains a significant proportion of the required private and public parking spaces. A district garage with a gross volume of 18,850 m3 with 5 full storeys and a usable area of 4,840 m2 in system construction is envisaged.

The quarter garage is planned as an open large garage in split-level construction.
