From software development to data exchange and the operation of data centers and networks to specialist advice: As a managed service provider in the IT market for statutory health insurance, BITMARCK is driving digitization in the industry and for its customers with innovative products and services. Around 1,500 employees create pioneering solutions for health insurers and their insured throughout Germany.
In connection with its execution of tasks as a working group according to § 94 a SGB X and the
Clients need services in the area of Microsoft licenses related to the operation of their data centers in the statutory health insurance environment at the main locations in Munich, Hamburg and Essen as well as the operation of the IT infrastructure at their customers.
In connection with their execution of tasks, the companies of the BITMARCK group of companies (clients) write a Microsoft trading partner framework agreement on the procurement of Microsoft products and license models based on the between the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI), and Microsoft concluded condition contracts (Microsoft Business and Service Contract; Select-Plus Agreement 2015; Group Agreement 2015) and other MS products not covered by federal condition agreements (e.g. online services) to supply the clients themselves and/or customers of the BITMARCK group of companies.
The subject of this call for tenders is the conclusion of a framework agreement within the meaning of § 21 VgV with a trading partner. As far as possible, the procurement of all available Microsoft products by the trading partner is subject to the contract, taking special account of the condition agreements between the Federal Republic of Germany and Microsoft Ireland, as well as the provision of related services and consulting services. The customer's needs are specified via individual releases and procured from the licensor via the trading partner. There is no obligation to accept Microsoft products under the framework agreement.
The trading partner must provide the following services in particular:
- Procurement of all available Microsoft products including the appropriate licensing and, if applicable,
Software Assurance, which is implemented within the framework of the condition agreements between the Federal Ministry of the Interior
and Microsoft, fall under the Select Plus contract or the group contract, including the necessary
Placement of entrances/accesses to the condition contracts.
- Procurement of such Microsoft products and license models that do not have the condition agreements of the BMI
may be licensed, taking into account specific Microsoft conditions for
public law bodies.
- Consulting and supporting services related to product and license procurement
- provision of any value-added services provided by the licensor in the context of the license acquisition,
- support in software asset management,
- advice and support on licensing and product issues,
- advice and information on optimization options when using possible
- Advice and support as well as timely announcement of new products and software version changes
- Supporting the client in proof of existing licensing
- support of the client in managing licenses
- Providing and ensuring access to the client's existing accounts in the licensor's VolumeLicensing Service Center (VLSC website) and ensuring access to all
Contracts of clients through the above-mentioned service center.
