The city of Bochum plans to realize the House of Knowledge (HdW, working title) in the historic post office building opposite the town hall on Willy-Brandt-Platz. The heart of the HdW is the previous central location of the city library, the Bochum adult education center, the merger of Bochum universities (UniverCity) and a market hall. These offers are to be rethought in terms of content and space as part of the planning and design of the building for a future-oriented house.
