Description:

The main intention of the project quantifiably map the spreading of foreign coniferous trees that we have little knowledge of, and which types of nature are at risk from such spreading. The project shall mainly focus on the tree types — lutz pine (50 %) and logdepole pine (50 %), but also other types of trees of which we have little knowledge of their spreading shall be included when they can be mapped cost-efficiently. The project shall be based on old plantations. The project shall ultimately result in advice on how further field mapping can be carried out in the most cost-efficient way.

The assignment is to be completed by November 2015.

The contract includes an option to extend the contract period for 1 year.
