Melin homes are replacing new boilers and a micro generation combined heat and power unit in our sheltered housing complex. As a part of this works Melin Homes are upgrading the heating and hot water distribution systems to make compliant with the district heat and network regulations.

9.1) The work to be carried out is located at our sheltered housing complex, Victoria court, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire NP7 5PW, please see a detailed performance specification in “Appendix A, Victoria Court CHP Performance specification”.

9.2) Victoria court is currently heated by a communal heating system that comes under the district heat network regulation. The existing boilers in the main building have come to the end of their life and Melin homes are replacing them with new boilers and a micro generation combined heat and power unit. As a part of this works Melin Homes are upgrading the heating and hot water distribution systems to make compliant with the district heat and network regulations.

9.3) It is compulsory that a site visit is to be carried out. Site visit will be for 1 week only W/C 29.4.2019.
