Kaufbeuren is an academic teaching hospital of Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) Munich, academic teaching department of Innsbruck Medical University & Krems private university and partner clinic of Augsburg University Hospital. The internal medicine department of Klinik Füssen is an academic teaching department of LMU Munich.
