The city of Solingen is planning the comprehensive renovation of the "Bergisches Nationaldenkmal" Schloss Burg a/d Wupper. The present tender includes the services for metal construction and locksmith work in the outdoor facilities of the inner courtyards as well as on the Schlossplatz.
The overall measure "Renovation of Schloss Burg" will be financed by two different funding schemes (federal funding and urban development funding), the work will be divided into two construction phases:
Federal funding, BA 1: Schlosshof, Brunnenhof, Nordterrasse
Funding of the state, BA 2: Schlossplatz, second escape route via northern access
The designation of the parts of the building as well as the individual squares and courtyards is based on a building nomenclature which is also used as "components" in the present invitation to tender and in the implementation documents.

The renovation work will take place during ongoing museum operations! The resulting difficulties and dependencies as well as the coordination between the different trades must be taken into account.
