The city of Plettenberg is planning a better development of the residential area Ölmühle / Friedhahn in the district of Ohle, which is located north of the DB route Hagen-Siegen. As part of this measure, a connection between the existing Ölmühle road and the B 236 is planned. This requires a transfer of this connecting road over the street “Am Friedhahn” and over the existing track system of the Deutsche Bahn AG.

With the construction of this overpass structure, the residential area "Am Stübel" to the west will also be connected to the B 236 via the Am Friedhahn street, which runs parallel to the track axis, so that the level crossing at Nordstraße can be dismantled. In order to enable pedestrians and cyclists to continue to cross the railway systems, a new foot and cycle bridge will be built west of the old level crossing at around railway km 45.675.
