NHS Ayrshire and Arran has a requirement for a replacement Water Plant installation, to supply ultrapure water for haemodialysis at the John Lynch Renal Dialysis Unit, Crosshouse Hospital. The installation will comprise of raw water pre-treatment, remote reverse osmosis central water plant with hot water sanitisation facility, feeding two ring main distribution loops (already in place) with a total of 63 outlets each at 1,5 l/min (with potential for future expansion to 80 outlets). Sufficient redundancy shall be incorporated to maintain ultrapure water and flow rates during maintenance or breakdown. The winning contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of the old Water Plant. Equipment should carry relevant CE markings. The design and installation shall be in full compliance with Section 2.00 of this specification and ALL relevant Health Technical Memorandum and Health Building Note 07-01.
