Bergen Vann KF operates the municipal water and sewage facilities in Bergen and Os Kommune. The organisation must ensure good and satisfactory water supply and good and environmentally correct sewage treatment.

Bergen Water shall enter into a framework agreement (without mini-competition) for the transport of sludge from several treatment facilities located in Bergen and Os municipalities. The sludge shall be transported to the biogas facility in Rådalen. This is done in order to utilise the resources in the sludge in the best possible manner. The biogas facility is expected to be completed by the second half of 2016.

The collection and delivery of sludge shall take place during workdays and between 7:00 and 15:00. Bergen Water will supply containers for this assignment. Location for storage of the containers can be agreed upon. Approx 10 daily deliveries must be expected and minimum 4 500 kg sludge shall be transported.
