The object of the service is the collection, transport and recovery of waste consisting of mattresses produced in the basin coming from municipal collection centers – CER 20.03.07, collected in the catchment area of SRT, mainly through separate home collection or delivered to municipal collection centers, as well as exceptionally coming from external basins.

The waste covered by the contract consists of a fraction of bulky municipal waste more specifically identified in "mattresses of various types and materials" produced in the basin and stored at municipal collection centers.
Services are to be considered essential public services in all respects; therefore, for no reason may they be suspended or abandoned except in proven cases of force majeure. In case of abstention from work due to strike called by trade associations, essential services must be provided, as required by Law 15.6.1990 n. 146.
