New construction of the functional building in RagowAt the site of the Ragow substation, a new functional building is to be erected to look after the assets in southern Brandenburg and eastern Saxony for the employees of the Regional Centre East of 50Hertz Transmission GmbH.
The planned new building (turnkey construction) is a 2-storey, free-standing building in square shape without a basement. According to § 2 para. 3 BbgBO, the new building is to be assigned to building class 3.

New construction of the central warehouse in Ragow50Hertz Transmission GmbH is responsible for the transport of electrical energy with the transmission grids at the 380 kV and 220 kV levels. There are five regional centres for the fulfilment of operator responsibility in these networks in the area. A new central warehouse of 50Hertz Transmission GmbH is to be built at the site of the Ragow substation. The central warehouse is used to supply the 50Hertz assets with reserve equipment, interference reserve, auxiliary and operating materials and for storage of reserve material for the South-East Link, as well as other new and major projects for the 50Hertz transmission grid and the associated switchgear.
The new location offers enough space to build the required storage capacity and offers additional possibilities for expansion. The proximity to the new regional centre is expected to result in synergy effects in infrastructure and supply. 2 halls approx. 125 x 25 m with overhead cranes. 1 hall approx. 76 x 25 m for mobile racking system. Approx. 12 m height, approx. 8,200 m².
