The main aim of this procurement is to cover the Ministry of Finance's need for translations from Norwegian to English and English to Norwegian, as well as language vetting and proofreading documents written in English.

The Ministry of Finance therefore intends, in collaboration with the Ethical Council for the Government Pension Fund, to enter into framework agreements for translation, language vetting, and proofreading.

Two sub-contracts will be signed with tenderers within the following fields:

1. Sub-contract I: General translation assignments within the Ministry of Finance's field.

2. Sub-contract II: General translation assignments for the Ethical Council for the Government Pension Fund abroad.

The main aim of this procurement is to cover the Ministry of Finance's need for translations from Norwegian to English and English to Norwegian, as well as language vetting and proofreading documents written in English.

The need for translation will be particularly connected to the ministry's work on planning and implementing financial policies, but there can also be translations, language vetting, and proofreading within the ministry's other areas of responsibilities.

A contract will be signed with two tenderer for sub-contract I.

The framework agreement period will be two years from when the contract is signed, with an option for an extension for a further two years, one year at a time (2 years + 1 year + 1 year)=. The contract can, thus, have a total duration of four years altogether.

Sub-contract I: Approx. NOK 450,000 on an annual basis, NOK 900,000 for 2 years or NOK 1,800,000 for 4 years. All the values are excluding VAT.

The need for translation will particularly be connected to the department's work on the administration of the Government Pension Fund, and for work on planning and implementing financial policies, but there can also be translations, language vetting and proofreading within the department's other areas of responsibility.

A contract will be signed with one tenderer for sub-contract II.

The framework agreement period will be two years from when the contract is signed, with an option for an extension for a further two years, one year at a time (2 years + 1 year + 1 year)=. The contract can, thus, have a total duration of four years altogether.

Sub-contract II: Approx. NOK 250,000 on an annual basis, NOK 500,000 for 2 years, or NOK 1,000,000 for 4 years. All the values are excluding VAT.
