As a part of the project Risk Level in the Norwegian petroleum industry (RNNP), Sinus AS has assisted the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway with the development of a risk indicator for noise since 2002.

Ptil needs to enter into a new framework agreement to continue this work.

The work that shall be carried out in the coming years will be built directly on the work that Sinus AS has carried out for the development of a risk indicator for noise in the RNNP-project in the period 2002-2014. The project shall be continued and the work consists of, amongst other things:

— Processing the submitted data in RNNP

— Further development of the risk indicator for noise and guidelines for reporting as needed.

— Any other assistance connected to noise and the RNNP-project.
