Nordland County hereby invites tenderers to participate in a tender contest for printed teaching aids for our 16 sixth form colleges. These sixth form colleges are: Andøy, Aust-Lofoten, Bodø, Bodin, Brønnøysund, Fauske, Hadsel, Knut Hamsun, Meløy, Mosjøen, Narvik, Polarsirkelen, Saltdal, Sandnessjøen, Sortland and Vest-Lofoten.

The competition is divided into 15 competitions and tenderers are to submit a tender for each college area. See Annex 1 for an overview of the college areas.

Nordland county reserves the right to enter into a contract with several suppliers. Emphasis is put on the fact that the tender is not for procurements from the libraries'ordinary budget, but only for loan schemes for printed teaching aids.

A loan scheme for teaching aids for sixth form education in Norway has been approved. This scheme applies for all years. This will be organised by the colleges procuring and administering the loans of the teaching aids. It is the libraries in the colleges in the county that will administer these assignments. The total number of student places in the school-year 2014-2015 was 10;035, but a total of 9,128 students were admitted. Nordland county has approved a free textbook choice for pupils, but most of the colleges have reading lists in subjects.

The pupils at sixth form colleges in Nordland county are obliged to use laptop computers. Digital teaching aids and other digital literature are not included in this competition. Nordland county has a contract for digital dictionaries.

There can be changes in the annual structure of the admissions process. Nordland county cannot, therefore, guarantee the annual scope. Compensation will not be given if the estimated volume is not achieved.

The framework agreement includes new procurements and supplements of teaching aids for all study programmes for sixth form education in the contract period.
