The purpose of the procurement is a new and binding agreement for purchase and subscription management of Norwegian and foreign journals. The journals will be available both in print and/or electronic format to the specified addresses in accordance with description in the tender documents.

For the assignment, a framework agreement will be entered into with a single supplier. The framework agreement duration will be 2 years. The Award authority shall have the option to extend the framework agreement for a further 3 years (with an option for one (1) additional year), totaling a maximum of 4 years.

University libraries are currently using the library system Bibsys. All routines (orders, reminders, etc.) must only be undertaken in the library system used by the universities at all times.

Total value of the framework agreement is estimated at about 1 000 000 NOK per year excluding VAT. This is only an estimate and spending under the framework agreement can be more or less than estimated. The estimate is not binding on the Award authority. The Award authority has a total of approximately 450 current periodical titles. An overview of journal subscriptions is included in the pricelist. This listing should be viewed as a guideline, it is possible that journal subscriptions can be terminated during the period, in the same way new ones can be ordered.
