The Norwegian National Security Authority (NSM) is the central directorate for the protection of information and infrastructure that is of significance for critical social and other important society functions. NSM shall be a driving force for the improvement of security conditions and will provide advice about the development of security work in society. The Directorate is administratively placed under the Ministry of Defence and reports to the Ministry of Justice and Public Security for cases in the civil sector. NSM uses various sources to deliver grounds for decision making in cases where people are to be security cleared in order to gain access to graded information. One of these sources is information from credit reporting registers.
The purpose of this agreement is to cover NSM's need for credit information to be used for person control.
The buyer receives, on the terms set out in this agreement document with annex (hereafter called The Agreement), a non-exclusive right to receive information from the Supplier, organise and store the information electronically in a database, and convey the information as required.
In regard to scope of delivery and requirements of the deliveries, please refer to part 2 Annex 1 of the Agreement.
A framework agreement shall be established with one supplier for a duration of 2 years. NSM reserves the right to extend the agreement for 1 + 1 years on verbatim terms.
Based on previous experiences and fiscal figures, the contract's value is estimated to be between 1 200 000 and 1 500 000 NOK, excluding VAT over a 4 year period. The value must, however, be seen as an estimate and not binding for the Contracting authority.
