Description:
Soil sensor system

The Leibniz Center for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) in Müncheberg is planning to procure a soil sensor system for soil moisture / temperature and EC monitoring as part of a public tender. This order includes the delivery, installation and commissioning of 30 measuring systems, each consisting of 6 soil moisture sensors and a LoRa node for data acquisition and transmission to one or, if necessary, 2 LoRa gateway (s). The LoraNodes record the signals from 6 soil moisture sensors and are installed 30 cm below GOK. The nodes and sensors are powered by 3x 1.5V D cells - which corresponds to an operating time of at least 12 months.

The system to be procured includes the following items with these features:

Soil moisture sensor with SDI-12 output and precise soil temperature measurement and detection of the electr. Conductivity of soil pore water. Measuring range 0-100VWC, application range 1..50 O C. Temperature measurement +/- 0.1 O C, EC 0-5 mS / cm .. Dimensions approx. 15 x 4 cm (diameter) - probe rods 10 cm x 3.15 mm. Supply voltage: 6-15Vdc, 32..88 mA f. Measurement, <10μVsleep. 10m cable. - Quantity: 180 x

LoRa node for connecting SDI12 sensors. Compatible with LoRa-WAN 1.02 standard. Supply via 3 x 1.5V-D cells, configurable measuring and transmission intervals; Support of time alignment and time zones, up to 16 SDI-12 commands can be programmed, quiescent current 35 μA - quantity: 30 x

Dribox and SDI12 distribution box for secure underfloor accommodation of data loggers, LoRa nodes etc. - with cable bushings made of foam rubber, incl. External LoRa antenna - quantity: 30x

Outdoor LoRa WAN gateway with 4G option, 10 + 1 channels. It connects a LoRa wireless network to an IP network via WLAN, Ethernet, 3G or 4G. It is fully compatible with the LoRaWAN protocol, includes an SX1301 LoRa Concentrator and 2 SX1257 LoRa transceivers. The gateway offers full duplex with 10 receive channels and 1 transmit channel. It can process up to 1000 LoRaWAN end nodes (nodes) from different manufacturers. Incl. external 4G antenna, incl.external LoRa antenna. Including control cabinet, 90 Ah battery, 100W solar module with mast attachment. Quantity: 1x

10m telescopic mast with guying and tilting foot consisting of: aluminum round mast ATMK90.100.5 LMB with tilting foot, transport length 2.6 m, max. Usable length 10 m, tube diameter 90/80/70/60/50 tube wall thickness 4 mm. Mounting plate 280 x 240 mm. Lightning protection rod with earth electrode. 4x ground anchors. Quantity: 1x

Costs for using a web visualization software to monitor the sensor function and for automatic generation of evaluations, responsive design, including user management, including an API for easy import of the accumulated data into your local ZALF database

Costs for data service: SIM card (s) for the LoRa gateways, server costs for calling up / receiving the measured values

Manpower consisting of: measurement of the LoRa WAN network to determine the range, support in setting up and commissioning the gateway, and installing and operating the soil moisture sensors and LoRa nodes.
