The supply and delivery of quantity 150, NSN 0550/6650-12-1579560; Binocular Zeiss, lens and prism, Diopete R Scale included, 50 mm Objective Dia, Individual, 7x Nom Magnification, Crossline, A 525502;

The supply and delivery of quantity 140, NSN 0550/6650-12-3400970, Eye Cup Binocular Zeiss 7x 50 B/GA.MK.2, A 520171-9902.000;

The supply and delivery of quantity 150, NSN 0550/6650-12-1744458, Eyeguard, Optical Intrsument, Plastic Zeiss Binocular, 30,5 mm Nom Thd size 23.5mm Viewing End ID, 30.5mm Attachment End ID, Screw Attachment, A 520166-0000.000.

Those wishing to express an interest in this requirement should note that the items are proprietary to Carl Zeiss AG and variants will not be accepted. Interested parties will need to be able to demonstrate that they are obtaining genuine OEM items and parts and should only express an interest if all items listed above can be supplied and delivered.

Expressions of interest should be submitted in the first instance to the Authority’s representative along with relevant 3rd party Quality Assurance accreditation.

QA Standards: BS EN ISO 9001:2008 with 3rd Party Certification accredited/recognised by UKAS, with an appropriate scope to meet the requirement. In the event that no ISO certification is held, the Company must be able to demonstrate that they operate and maintain a business/quality management system acceptable to the Department within that same scope.

Expressions of interest received after the deadline will not be considered. The decision of the Authority is final.

After the expression of interest deadline has passed a Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) may be issued to assist with the down-selection process. Post down-select process an Invitation to Tender (ITT) may be issued to select companies. Tenders will be assessed to establish which is the lowest priced complaint bid.

The announcement of a future contract is not to be construed as confirmation that a tender/contract will subsequently be issued. Announcements are for information only. Thus, the issue of a possible invitation to tender is not to be construed as a commitment by the MOD to submit the tender exercise now or at a later stage. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgment of the potential suppliers.
