A Multi-supplier framework agreement for the specialist Advanced Manufacturing training services required to support the Sharing In Growth programme. The listed manufacturing capabilities (Below) form the basis but not totally inclusive of the areas of the advanced training requirement:

2) Forging;
3) Casting;
4) Welding;
5) Electronics — PCB;
6) Electronics — Wire Harness;
7) Fabrications;
8) Fiber Optics / Prisms;
9) Wet Processing;
10) Composites;
11) Rubber/Polymer;
12) Plastics;
13) MRO;
14) Raw Material;
15) Other — As of yet not identified until all beneficiaries are engaged on the programme.
The scope of this service is to include:
— A technical review of selected improvement focus area against industry standards and to identify improvement opportunities, with the key deliverables being capability and cost reduction.
— Development of an Advanced Manufacturing training plan with the beneficiary in conjunction with the SiG team to close any skills gaps identified by the Technical review.
— Provision of all training material for on-site coaching and support.
— Provision of any formal training courses identified from the technical review.
— Provide a list of available training courses.
— On site coaching and training of up to 48 days in years 1 and 2 with the beneficiary.
— Provision of all labour to carry out the technical assessment, coaching and training over a period of up to 2 years.
Based on current plans the requirement is for services to be provided to up to 24 Aerospace suppliers across the UK.
